FLEX is an in-depth report focused on work flexibility in a Portuguese context, exploring the discrepancies between the expectations of workers in Portugal and the reality of flexible work.

Produced in collaboration with Universidade Católica Portuguesa, this 2019 report aimed to find out just flexible work is in the Portuguese labour market, the elements that influence this and how this affects the adoption of flexible working in practice.

To explore the topic of labour flexibility in Portugal, Polar Insight researchers spoke with over 800 Portuguese workers and representatives of the business community, blending quantitative and qualitative methodologies to achieve a balanced and representative view of today’s working conditions.
